Lake Elmo Regional Park Reserve is like an emerald isle tucked away in the upscale community of Woodbury Minnesota. We decided to spend four days there to visit family before heading to the Wisconsin Dells. We had no idea how much we would enjoy our stay here. Continue reading
A picture is worth a thousand words. The saying couldn’t be more true than when you are looking at Devils Tower. The pictures are beautiful but it is the feeling that comes over you when you view this towering rock against a crystal clear blue sky. You have to be here to really get it! Florence, Oregon holds so many happy childhood memories for me! I have been talking about it for years, telling David “We have to go there! You will love it!” And so we have and it is as wonderful as I remembered. Seeing places my parents took us to and a few that we did not see. The magic starts with where we are camping, in the forest, at the Elks RV Park! Who knew? Continue reading
Part of the adventure is driving to a new place, rounding the corner and waiting to see where you have landed. We have mostly been very lucky when the next stop reveals it’s self. Harvest Hosts has not let us down with the spots they have selected to be included as RV boondock camping at the many vineyards, farms and cheese producers across the country. Melrose Vineyards is lovely, peaceful and breathtaking from the minute you drive onto the property! Continue reading
